Tango is sometimes danced very dramatically, but is always fun and can be enjoyed at any level. Whether you think you can dance or not, Dennis and Sandy will help you reach your dancing goals and you’ll have a great time doing it! Dance proves to be great physical and mental exercise and allows time to spend with friends or that special someone you care about. Get comfortable stepping out onto the dance floor and enjoy ballroom dancing for a lifetime. Proper dance technique, frame, posture, floor crafting, and beat identification will be covered. Students are allowed to video steps in class for personal use. No dance experience is required. Hard soled shoes are recommended and a partner is suggested, but not required. Phlebotomy Technician with Clinical Externship This 167-hour Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students to collect blood specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Students will become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures safely. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, anatomy and physiology, blood collection procedures, specimen hands-on practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods. The students will experience a clinical externship at a local hospital and will have a total of 100 hours and 100 sticks per ASCP & NAACLS guidelines. Students may need to adjust with their work schedules for the clinic externship. Students are required to have scrubs, current physical, and immunizations records for the clinical and the cost is NOT included in the cost of the class. The required immunizations TB, Varicella, MMR, Tdap and COVID-19 must be turned in to the instructor by September 30, 2022. (Paperwork will be given in class). The optional immunizations are Hepatitis B and Flu shot (seasonal). Clinical time will be scheduled around class time. All students must maintain a 75% or better. There are places to shop and eat near the theater. The theatre lobby typically opens 45 minutes prior to the start of the show. The seating area opens 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. The theatre is currently requiring audience members to wear masks at all times throughout the theatre (except while actively eating or drinking). The tour will last 90 minutes and will be conducted rain or shine so please dress accordingly. This is a walking tour. Travelers will have 30 minutes to shop at the gift store before leaving.
