BEST, Inc. in Sterling Offering an In-Person Job Fair with Federal Bureau of Prisons at Thomson

Business Employment Skills Team, Inc. (BEST, Inc.) and the Federal Bureau of Prisons at Thomson BOP will be hosting a job fair on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sterling BEST, Inc. Office located at 2605 Woodlawn Road, Sterling, Illinois 61081. Officer Johnson with the Bureau of Prisons, will be on hand to talk with interested applicants and assist with application. The Thomson site has many openings. Stop by and learn about the many career opportunities with good wages, benefits and pensions offered by BOP.

Are you interested in subbing at Sterling Public Schools on the days you don't have class? We are looking for subs for our teaching assistants!

Teaching Assistant Subs: Click here to see the requirements from Mary Escamilla from the Regional Office of Education. Please note, there is a short term approval that allows you to start right away while you are obtaining the correct certification. Pay is $12.00 per hour and the position would be assisting in a classroom setting.
